You just knew it would be cool. Today, I knocked it off the bucket list. This is Maryland Midland's Union Bridge to Emory Grove (UBEG) returning from Emory Grove after interchanging with CSX and picking up one car. The scene is downtown Westminster, MD at the intersection of MD Route 27 and Main Street. 1/16/14

ANTIETAM BLOODY LANE SUNDOWN: The sun begins to set on another day recently at the Antietam battlefield near Sharpsburg, MD. Here at Bloody Lane, In the afternoon of September 17, 1862 nearly 5,500 soldiers were killed or wounded along this sunken road in about three hours of combat.
