A photo 7 years in the making. The Norfolk Southern Office Car Special (OCS) crossing the Potomac River at Shepherdstown, WV. This train operates all over the system on frequent trips. I have never made it a priority to shoot. I even once bypassed it to chase a train up the CSX Lurgan seeing the headlights of the OCS in the distance. Other times I have been at work or doing something else. When I did have opportunities to photograph it, I would get screwed. I’ve mentioned to friends that this train is a curse to me. Not today!
