The conductor of 86 looks down on the Potomac River as the Winchester and Western train crosses high overhead. He told me earlier he always looks for turtles in the clear water below. He also explained the story behind the flag… Years ago while he was working for CSX he found the flag in the mud along a siding in Gaithersburg, MD. He picked it up and cleaned it. He has been putting it on his trains since as the days draw close to the Fourth of July.
